Borges Wines highlighted at the International Wine Challenge 2025

The International Wine Challenge (IWC) is one of the most prestigious and demanding wine competitions in the world. It is with great pride that we share the excellent results achieved by Sociedade dos Vinhos Borges in the 2025 edition.

These awards represent significant international recognition of the quality of our wines and the dedicated work of all the teams involved.

This year, our wines made us particularly proud, having been awarded four silver medals:

  • Lello Reserva Douro Red 2023

  • Borges Reserva Douro White 2023

  • Borges Reserva Douro Red 2022

  • Borges Reserva Dão Red 2021

The IWC stands out for its rigorous judging process, in which each wine is blind tasted by different panels of expert judges over multiple stages. Criteria such as quality, balance, typicity, and consistency are carefully assessed.
