Tasting Notes

Appearance | Clear and bright, with an intense, concentrated ruby colour and great depth.
Aroma | An intense, exuberant and enveloping aroma, marked by ripe black fruit, particularly blackberry and plum. Delicate floral notes also emerge, accompanied by fresh hints of menthol and subtle spicy nuances. The prolonged ageing in French oak adds complexity through fine, well-integrated woody notes, without overshadowing the varietal expression of Touriga-Franca.
Taste | On the palate, it reveals great intensity and breadth while retaining the characteristic elegance of the grape variety. The texture is enveloping and velvety, supported by soft, polished tannins that provide structure and depth. The black fruit continues on the palate, accompanied by delicate spicy notes and a subtle presence of oak. The wine shows excellent volume, balance and persistence, culminating in a long, intense and distinctive finish.
