From the first estate acquired by the Borges brothers in 1904, this wine has its roots in the traditions that made the region famous.

Grape Varieties | Touriga-Nacional (30%), Tinta-Roriz (20%), Touriga-Franca (20%), Tinta Barroca (15%), Tinto Cão (10%) and Sousão (5%).

Tasting Notes

Appearance | Clear and bright, with an intense ruby colour and great vibrancy.
Aroma | A youthful, very fresh and expressive aroma, marked by black fruit, particularly black plum. Elegant floral notes of orange blossom also emerge, complemented by gentle nuances of vanilla and delicate smoky hints from the ageing in French oak. The overall aromatic profile is enveloping, balanced and complex.
Taste | On the palate, it reveals excellent volume and intensity, with an enveloping texture supported by elegant, smooth and well-integrated tannins. The fruit expression continues on the palate, accompanied by subtle nuances from the oak ageing, which add depth and complexity to the whole. The finish is full, persistent and harmonious, marked by balance and elegance.
