Tasting Notes

Appearance | Clear and bright, with a lively lemon-yellow colour and delicate greenish reflections.
Aroma | A clean, intense and complex aroma of great elegance. Delicate floral notes of orange blossom are surrounded by a pronounced citrus expression, with distinct notes of orange and bergamot. Ageing in French oak adds subtle woody nuances, finely integrated, providing depth and complexity without compromising the aromatic freshness of the wine.
Taste | On the palate, it displays the nobility and structure characteristic of the Encruzado grape variety. It is enveloping and balanced, with good volume and texture, accompanied by lively acidity that brings the vibrant freshness typical of Dão wines. Barrel ageing and bâtonnage add breadth and complexity while keeping the oak subtle and well integrated. The finish is long, fresh and persistent, revealing balance, elegance and excellent potential for bottle ageing.
